The word “Christian” means A LOT of different things to different people. And honestly, sometimes people claiming to be “Jesus people” take advantage of the ambiguity of “christian” because it allows them to define it however they want. Early followers of Jesus didn't refer to themselves as Christians, so maybe it’s not helpful for us either. Do we need to “rebrand” the word? Or do we just need to use a different term…and most of all, live a different kind of life?
